“Shreds” series upcycled scarf - beige sage cream artisan knit fabric wide scarf. Medium width version at approximately 8+’ long x 10-12” wide. The variety of prints and textures makes this artsy and fun, yet casual. Includes plush knit fabrics, ribbed fabric, stamped specialty faux leather, jean material, lace, designer embroidered fabric, sweater and more for softness and warmth. Perfect with any simple top, wears great with a winter coat or jean jacket. Great with khakis and jeans and elegant tops. Dress up or down styling.

The shawl includes strategically located loops and pull/through pieces for you to pull one side through the other to secure in place.

Added details of art yarns and leather.

Statement scarfs are great gifts! Artistic look with a variety of simple styling options. Wrap or drape with simple typical scarf wearing style - but an awesome styling effect. These are great to show off your artistic pins too.

This seems like a simple process however piece by piece and shaping plus varying stretch in fabrics and thickness make this a whirlwind time consuming piece work!

This piece does have a front and backside, meaning certain fabrics don’t have a finished backside. Overall, when styled you can’t tell the difference. Can be draped wide and long, folded in half for less width and worn in the typical scarf styles. Uneven end lengths and a variety of textures make this fun and unique!

All items are hand wash in a gentle detergent. Resist wringing out or twisting items to get water out. Squish into a ball to remove water, then lay on a towel and roll it up, pressing down on the towel to remove excess water. Lay flat to dry or hang. Finger comb out any tangled fringed yarn. Items can be stretched in two directions if the shape has stretched one way or another.

All pieces with the exception of hand tied Fringies are best stored folded or on a shelf versus hung on hangars to retain their original shape.

Fringies can be twisted (they way you get them in the mail from me) or hung on hooks, pegs or scarf hangars to prevent tangling. Oh, and keep them away from the cats!!! They love to play with the fringe!

Custom orders welcome. Each item is hand made from self-created patterns, some of which I create 'as I go', so your duplicate item may not be the exact same shape as the one you saw previously. Yarn's also vary over time as manufacturers discontinue my favorites. I can't alway get the same yarn multiple times, especially handmade yarns.
