Print Details:
Standard prints are produced on smooth matte fine art paper (acid-free, pH-neutral, archival) using archival pigment inks for long-lasting color and durability.
Premium edition prints are produced on 100% cotton watercolor paper (museum quality), with hand-applied gold or silver leaf added individually by the artist. Each leaf application is unique, resulting in no two prints being exactly alike.
Summary / Description:
This piece reflects my long-standing interest in abstract painting, which I have explored since 1986. Inspired in part by the work of Robert Motherwell, I focused on simplicity—using black and white to create balance, contrast, and visual impact.
The addition of gold or silver leaf introduces a contrasting element of light and reflection, elevating the composition while maintaining its minimal and expressive foundation.
Creation Process:
This artwork was developed through an artist-directed digital process, using generative techniques guided by my original concepts and visual direction. The composition was refined and finalized with careful attention to balance, contrast, and tonal simplicity.
For select editions, gold or silver leaf is applied by hand to each print, creating a unique surface and finish.
Shipping and Production Notes:
Please allow 2–3 weeks for production and shipping, especially for prints with hand-applied gold or silver leaf due to application and drying time.
Leaf-applied prints are shipped flat to preserve the integrity of the surface. Additional shipping costs may apply for larger or specialty prints.
If Etsy overcalculates shipping costs, any excess charges will be refunded.
Shipping and Presentation:
Each print is carefully packaged with a protective backing board, sealed in a plastic sleeve, and shipped in a rigid protective mailer.
