• Original engraving, limited edition of up to 5 fine art print.

• Photopolymer engraving, single plate (Carbon Black AkuaInks) on Velin Arches BFK Rives 250gsm white paper 21 x 30 cm(8.27 x 11.81 inches). The print measures 9,5 x 7 cm (3.54 x 2.7 inches). Each print is signed, stamped, and numbered at the bottom of the printed area. Each print is hand-pulled on an intaglio printing press.

• The addition of rabbit and wings is created using embossing technique. Please note that this technique may result in variations from one print to another.

• When shipped, the engraving will be wrapped in tissue paper, sandwiched between two boards placed in a cardboard envelope. It comes with a certificate of authenticity, and a tracking number will be provided.

• Photopolymer engraving is an intaglio printmaking technique where UV light is used to engrave an image into a photosensitive emulsion fixed to a metal plate. Once the plate has hardened, it is possible to print the work on paper similar to a traditional drypoint engraving. The main difference is that the work, usually done directly on the metal surface, is now done on a transparent sheet of paper. Photopolymer engraving is a technique that developed around the same time as photography itself (1820). Nicéphore Niépce is credited with inventing the technique, while mature photogravure was created in 1878 by the Czech painter Karel Klí. It is a non-toxic, environmentally friendly technique.

• A frame can be included upon request. It is a standard FISBKO Ikea frame. It can be hung or placed, vertically or horizontally, depending on available space. Plastic protection included.
