This colorful pendant necklace goes with just about anything. Fun, funky and soft on the skin, these unusual fiber pouches never fail to attract compliments. Striking and artisan made (by me,) no one else will have one like it! Goes very well with jeans and other relaxed looks.

This handmade woven Irish waxed linen pouch is very detailed, from the shape of the basket to the sparkling beaded fringe. The neck cord is made from two 4-ply strands that I twisted into cordage. Measuring the necklace from the bottom of the pouch to the top of the cord is approx. 16" long. It is easy to slip over your head and hangs at the sternum. The pouch itself is approx. 1 1/4" wide x 1 1/2" long, not including the beaded fringe.

The "fabric" and shaping is achieved using an ancient finger-weaving technique called twining. Beaded fringe adds a bit of sparkle and grace. The beaded pouches take about 5-6 hours to create.

Shipped with a small box with tissue for gift giving.
