“Duck Pi(e)” - 🦆🥧 🌈Rainbow Foil Variant🌈

My 2nd official UM poster.

This mathematical bonanza of a creation has so many fun little details hidden throughout!
Inspired by Eugene’s University of Oregon Ducks and today’s date 3.14, this Duck-Pi themed poster showcases a PonderMonster style duck immersed in geometry.

You may notice that our new duck friend is plucking something familiar from a small portal. Linking the character from my first Umphrey’s poster. Gazing in gentle curiosity while pondering the current state of the plucked flower.

The border and background are adapted from one of my favorite artists ever, MC Escher. A legend in geometric art and perspective. A famous bird tessellation has been transformed into ducks flying in two directions.

Wrapped around the border, growing out of some other portals, sprouts the Oregon state flower: the Oregon Grape.
“Umphrey’s McGee” is drawn in the style of the OSU font, where the ‘O’ is chopped to make the Umphrey’s ’U’.
