To keep the sparkle in your jewelry, avoid coating it with hairspray, perfumes or powders. Never PULL the jewelry through a soft cleaning cloth (it loosens the loops) Instead, wipe the jewelry against the cloth.

I avoid making earrings that weigh heavy on the earlobe. I keep the weight in mind while designing my earrings. I like to keep them in the range of "light as a feather" up to "a slight weight--you know they are there"
