The Chez Hannie Superbloom Dress is a statement-making, maximalist gathered dress style with volume and cinch in all the right places. A confident beginner-friendly project, requiring some patience for gathering and binding, results in a head-turning piece you’ll want to pull out for every summer picnic and party.

The pattern comes in a size range of 0-10 (2XS-6XL), but the finished garment will be gathered and cinched to your own unique measurements, tailored to fit you perfectly, with LOTS of roomy volume, so can accommodate a diversity of bodies and detailed adjustment instructions are included!

No closures or fastenings, the dress will be pulled on over the head to wear.

Yardage & cutting info is included in detail in the instruction booklet, but ranges from 5-7 yards based on size, style, and fabric width.

The print-at-home PDF requires 61 pages of US Letter (8.5"x11") / 56 of A4 (210 x 297 mm) paper, or 4 pages of A0 (841 x 1189 mm) paper. A projector file has also been added to the download.

***IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT PATTERN ASSEMBLY***
The Chez Hannie Pattern Assembly method requires NO MARGIN CUT AWAY: print at 100% scale and tape the pages together, edge to edge. Connect the pattern lines through the blank margins with pen or with scissors as you cut out your size. A few guides are given for tricky areas that fall in the margins. This method is intended to get your project to your sewing machine sooner!

Sewing instruction booklet (included as a PDF) features photos of the sewing process along with written descriptions for clarity and ease. NEWLY UPDATED 2024 SUPERBLOOM 2.0 Version includes a 5 page expansion to "hack" the pattern and make a sleeveless style.

1. PDF sewing instruction booklet - written with imperial standard measurements, with some metric conversions called out.

2. PDF pattern file US Letter Size: The file is 61 pages and is formatted specifically for US Letter size paper.

3. PDF pattern file A4 Size: The file is 56 pages and is formatted specifically for A4 paper. DO NOT use the US letter size file with A4 paper, and vice versa.

4. PDF pattern file A0 Size: The file is 4 pages and is formatted specifically for A0 paper (33.1 x 46.8 inches for US copy shop - make sure your copy shop can print this size at full scale.)
