Vintage framed oil painting on canvas with solid wood frame depicting a bird (pheasant?) in a grove of bamboo above pretty blue and white flowers. It is a vintage hand painted decorative item, signed on the lower right corner. Stylistically, it reminds me of Asian paintings that were popular during the 1950's-1960's.

I was not able to decipher the signature. It may be the artist's name or a studio mark, you can decide. It was professionally framed at one point and is ready to display and enjoy, or give as a gift.

This piece is available either framed (as shown in the photos) or unframed (painted canvas ONLY). The frame is solid wood and HEAVY, and more difficult and larger to ship, hence the substantial cost difference.

Overall frame size is 20 x 32 inches, painting canvas is apx 24 x 11.75 inches.

Painting is in good condition, though it probably could use a professional cleaning. A few dirt marks and minor scuffs, however the image itself is in good condition.

The frame has some rough patches, dings, minor chips and marks in the finish but is solidly built, made from either fir or pine wood that has been stained. It needs minor restoration to look new, but is well built and displays the painting nicely.
