Your order is submitted to us as soon as it is confirmed by Etsy. Depending on how fast you need your item(s) and where you are located, we can offer express service. Before buying an item, please contact us to get an exact quote, should this be required.

If, for any reason, you don’t receive your package within the timescales provided, please contact us so we can check with the delivery company/ courier and ascertain the reason for the delay.

Most orders within the UK are shipped with Royal Mail 48hr Tracked Service, sometimes courier firm Evri, who always provide a tracking number. The vast majority of items are shipped within 1-2 days of receipt of cleared payment. We dispatch items every day including most weekends and Bank Holidays. The exception being if we are taking a little holiday. Please note, for international orders we use ‘International Tracked’, a service from Royal Mail, who are closed on Sundays and Bank Holidays.

We take the highest possible care with each and every item we list on Etsy. We thoroughly hand clean, sanitise and polish them where possible before photos are being taken and then uploaded. This applies to all the metal and brass, ceramics, porcelain and stoneware alike.

For leather items a damp cloth is used. We then carefully dry and buff as appropriate. Neat, clean and tidy at the highest standard possible is what we always aim for before an item is carefully packaged and despatched to reach our valued customer.

We offer a postage service on most of the items free of charge in the UK- see individual listings for more information.
Worldwide shipping ranges from £14 up to £50 depending on the size and the weight of the item.
We do have listings in our shop for items which are bulky, large, heavy, an awkward shape or a combination of these. In these circumstances where we have marked worldwide shipping for over £50 we will need to generate a specific quote for delivery to your requested destination. For this, we kindly ask customers to get in touch with us direct.
Where an item is required urgently, and you may not have time to do this be reassured that we are always happy to refund any shipping overpayments.

We take great care when packing your item. However, sadly, but thankfully extremely rarely, there can be damage upon arrival. Most of the items are unique & cannot be easily replaceable, if at all. We will always do our utmost to resolve any issues. Please email us first before leaving any feedback, which allows us an opportunity to do so.

To help us handle this swiftly we will ask you to take photos of the packaging alongside photos of the damaged item. We will then issue a claim to the shipping company. Please note ceramics are often specifically excluded by couriers. Although we will refund prior to any response from the courier, please kindly allow us sufficient time for this to be processed & monies issued to you.

We do not normally include a receipt or invoice in any package unless specifically requested by the buyer. If you are sending a gift to someone then please be sure to include their address in the order. Then upon request, and at no extra charge, we will be very happy to include a note with your message to the lucky gift recipient.
Also, the option Etsy gives to mark an item as a gift will not change the categorisation of a purchase to a 'Gift' on customs forms. For posting purposes, purchases are always marked as ‘Sale of Goods’ to follow international customs laws.

We are always happy to reserve an item, however if we do not receive any communication from you within 2 days of agreeing to do so the item will be made re-available.

Our terms for reserving an item require an initial deposit of 20% with the balance becoming payable within further 28 days. Please note our policy is not to refund the initial 20% if the remaining balance is not paid within this generous timescale. We believe this is fair and reasonable as the item is removed from our shop during the time held on reserve for you.

Sorry, we don't accept returns unless the item was misrepresented in some way within the listing and associated description. Please get in touch with us as soon as possible and before taking any other action so that we can work through the issue together, hopefully coming to an amicable conclusion. In the extremely rare event that your package gets lost in transit we cannot be held responsible. However, and of course, we will do our very best to help you locate the package. As a customer you are covered by Etsy’s Purchase Protection programme, which includes important events such as item “Doesn’t arrive”; “Arrives damaged” and “Differs significantly from the item description or photos”.

Yes we are. At FindsBigandSmall, we registered with the Central Agency Packaging Register, ZSVR (Stifung Zentrale Stelle Verpackungsregister) with registration number DE2756179038390 and dual system partner Lizenzero Packaging for the collection, sorting, and recycling of our packaging.

We always reuse and recycle packaging where possible; such as cardboard boxes and bubble wrap materials, this minimises the cost and environmental impact. Please open the packages carefully, without the use of sharp objects to prevent accidental cuts on often fragile items inside the package.
