Overall this typewriter is in excellent vintage condition and my daughter loves it. Our one concern is the amount of force required to make dark letters, even with a new ribbon. It requires a forceful 2 finger style. Otherwise it is mechanically perfect. The packing crate was damaged upon arrival which resulted in the typewriter cover being cracked. The seller promptly sent a replacement. Excellent customer service throughout!
