Washing ... all woollen items can be handwashed in lukewarm water and wool detergent. Once rinsed, squeeze out in a towel and dry flat on another towel in the shade. Reshape while drying. Don't use the washing machine, clothes line or dryer ... your woollens will never look the same again.

Steaming ... fluff up woollens with steam. Hold small items over a boiling kettle. For bigger items, hold the steam iron just above the surface.

Pressing ... if you must press, do it VERY gently. Use a steam iron through a cloth on the wrong side. No side to side movement, just a light press and lift.

Brushing ... mohair items can be lightly brushed with a very soft brush.

Removing pilling … a light, careful shave can help.
