Handmade grungy journal with accordion journal inside . A completely one off piece. A starting point for your creative journey.

The main journal consists of 3 signatures. It has 62 pages (124 sides) consisting of various manipulated papers and fabrics. I have also included a second accordion book inside that has 9 pages that have been worked into on both sides.

The cover of the main journal is made from an antique childrens book cover and a piece of acorn dyed fabric that I have burnt and stitched abd sewn two of my handmade ceramic buttons onto. I have added copper wire bound sticks onto the spine. It is all tied together with a long thread of dyed string that i have added dyed fabric bound in copper wire and finished off with a hand cast pewter key.

The main journal has a variety of papers and fabrics that I have dyed and used various other techniques to age, distress and alter.
The edges of each page have been torn, burnt and I've added a touch of gold ink .

The journal measures approx 20cm ×14cm , but each page varies in size.

The accordion journal is clipped inside. It is made from watercolour paper and each page is bound together with dyed fabrics.
I have used various dyes, burnt holes, stitched and drawn or written onto the pages as a starting point.
