The Biomorphic series of organic light sculptures are one-of-a-kind and crafted by hand. This is a second-generation light sculpture, more durable than previous iterations. The light sculpture has a smooth, lightly water resistant finish. Recommended for indoor use only.

Description:
White table lamp. G16 lamp socket. Included round globe 40W, candelabra bulb in a soft white. 7’-0” clear cord. This particular Biomorphic light fixture is upright, functioning as a task or reading lamp.

Care instructions:
Studio Chora's stone composite products are compressed and burnished to a natural white finish. The finish may be cleaned with a wet rag or mild cleaning product. A beeswax will maintain the tactile surface texture and bring out natural color variation in the plaster. *Please note, hairline micro fissures may appear and are not damage. They are superficial resulting from temperature change during the setting phases and are to be embraced as part of the wabi-sabi aesthetic and philosophy. Additionally, a light coat of beeswax will fill the micro fissure(s).

About the designer:
E. Silva, M. Arch., of Studio Chora is a designer based in New Mexico. Trained as an architect, her work focuses on post-Deleuzian philosophy as a critical tool for articulating gender. She handcrafts one-of-a-kind sculptures, drawings, technical and artistic visuals, pneumatic dinner parties, and augmented reality experiences.

Domestic shipping:
All products are shipped PRIORITY with USPS and I charge a $7 flat rate fee on all orders (whether the order includes one product or multiple) unless otherwise noted. Shipments are picked up on the following day (Monday- Saturday)--if you order Monday then it will ship Tuesday and if you order Saturday then it will ship Monday. Products are carefully packed using second-use packing materials. I pay for additional insurance on all shipments, and if damage occurs during shipment, I will make it right. *Shipping upgrades are available.

Care Instructions:
Studio Chora's plaster products are lightly sealed--meaning they retain a chalk-like, natural finish. Oils, polishes, harsh chemicals will hurt this surface. Light dusting is all that is needed to keep the surface clean.

Return/Exchange Policy:
Products may be returned or exchanged in perfect condition up to 7 days after the initial receipt for a full refund, less initial shipping costs. Please note that all products are handmade and have imperfections. Review product photos carefully or contact me directly through Etsy or shop [!at] studiochora.com to inquire about specific concerns. I describe my products to the best of my ability, and will not list products that I wouldn’t furnish my own home with.
