Using a standard home iron, you can apply HTV to many types of material including T-shirts, Hoodies, Sweatpants, Sports Jerseys, Tote Bags, Aprons, Robes, Banners, Pillowcases and much more.

⚠️ NO PHOTOS / IMAGES ACCEPTED! We use CAD (Computer-Aided Design) CUT technology, the chosen artwork is cut from sheets/rolls of coloured vinyl. Once the design or text has been cut, it's then weeded out (removed) manually.

There is no print work undertaken, so it's not possible to print full-colour images, colour gradients or shading effects within the artwork. It is great for SINGLE COLOUR designs, and especially for individual names, text and numbers.

⚠️ PLEASE NOTE: Since we are not doing the application of the transfer onto your garment, WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE for Iron transferring or after washing results. But are very happy to help with any questions, tips or suggestions.

*Some manufacturers of sport clothing do put a very thin layer of waxy lacquer to help protect the material whilst it's being sewn. When the hot iron goes on, it creates a film stopping the transfer from adhering to the fabric. Please carefully check your garment label before application.

☑️ If we do not receive personalised details or if the artwork files you provide are not print-ready and, therefore, do not match our artwork guidelines within 24 hours, your order maybe CANCELLED or marked as "Dispatched" but will be kept on file. This is due to ETSY performance being at risk for us for any late delivery delays.

📌 HOW TO APPLY TRANSFER?
------------------------
Please use a small practice sample transfer "love heart" (included) to test the application process prior to applying onto your garment. (Use on an old t-shirt or other similar material to test).

When you receive your vinyl, there is a front and a back. The front side is the shiny side - that shiny layer is the carrier sheet, which you can peel off after you've ironed your project. The backside is the matte side that has the heat-activated adhesive.

You can pretty much iron on anything that won't melt! For beginners, custom T-shirt, Hoodies, Sweatshirts, Polo Shirts, Hats, Bedding, Curtains, Bags, Pillows, Trousers, Towels, the possibilities are endless! HTV works best on cotton or polyester or cotton/poly blends.

❗ NOT SUITABLE FOR: very stretchy materials, synthetic fabrics, nylon, leather, satin, lace, wool, Lycra etc. They will melt under the heat of an iron.

We accept no responsibility for any loss or damages by not following the above. If you are unsure if damage will occur, please check the clothing label before ironing.

1️⃣ Set your iron to the cotton/linen setting. Make sure the steam setting is OFF for steam irons.

2️⃣ Use the iron to preheat the area of the material in which you will be applying your transfer to remove wrinkles for 10 to 15 seconds.

3️⃣ Place the transfer, plastic side up, onto the preheated material. To protect the transfer from excessive heat, please iron using a parchment (baking) paper.

4️⃣ Press down on your iron and apply pressure to each part of the design. Move the iron up and down, left to right, to ensure all areas have been firmly pressed for 15-20 seconds. DO NOT SLIDE IRON!

5️⃣ Let cool 5-10 seconds. Remove plastic slowly from one corner, if the artwork/image does not adhere to repeat steps 3, 4 and 5. The transfer must melt in the material.

6️⃣ Show off your newly decorated item!

Suppose your design has two or more separate transfers/colours, Iron-On only a single layer at a time. Begin with the bottom layer, followed by the second bottom layer, and work upwards.

⚠️ NOT ACCEPTED: Screenshots, Images, Photos, .JPG, .PNG, PSD, etc.

Files for vinyl cutting must be vectored/outline files (EPS or Adobe Illustrator format), with all text converted to outlines. PDF files may only be used reliably if all text has already been converted to outlines. For more information, please contact us.

📌 WHY A HEAT TRANSFER WON'T ADHERE TO A GARMENT?
------------------------
They could be a couple of reasons why our transfer won't adhere to a garment:

◾ Not enough heat – set a higher temperature.
◾ The transfer is not under the heat press/iron long enough - extend pressing time.
◾ Fabric type and fabric surface – fluffy, very stretchy, silk, satin, leather, seams, nylon, lace, wool, Lycra etc.
◾ Pulled off a plastic cover while the transfer was still warm. You have to let the glue cool down/stick to fabric before removing it.
◾ Repeat all application tips if you use a domestic iron with steam holes - the glue will not melt/stick properly to fabric in these places where steam holes are.

📌 APPLICATION TIPS
------------------------
◾ Iron-on transfer onto your garment using a hard surface (like a tile floor, piece of wood or a cookie sheet) instead of an ironing board.
◾ To protect the transfer from excessive heat, please iron using a parchment paper. Alternatively, use a piece of cotton (such as a dishcloth) over the lined side of the material.
◾ Only iron-on a single layer at a time. Begin with the bottom layer followed by the second bottom layer and work upwards.
◾ Do not apply a layer on top of iron-on glitter.
◾ If a section of the transfer doesn’t stick, return the liner to its original position. Re-iron the piece again with the tip of the iron, moving it firmly backwards and forwards over the affected area.
