We always meticulously clean and sanitize any item sold in our shop. If there is a stain or discoloration we will note this in the listing. Vintage items are usually used items although on rare occasion we get something new with tags. Even on new items we will refresh and get the years of dust off of the item. All practices of cleaning follow the best practices for that type of item. If you have any questions on a particular item in the store please let us know.

We all know that a large today is not necessarily a large from 40 years ago. We usually only list clothing with manufacturer tags intact but the older the clothing the real possibility that a tag would not be included. Regardless, a size 12 item from one decade will not be what a size 12 is from another decade. Also note, that sizes can differ from brands as well. We provide actual measurements on our clothing. We measure from pit-pit or hip to hip, shoulder to bottom or waist to bottom, collar to bottom on the back, and full length on dresses. If you need an additional measurement please ask before purchase and we will be more than happy to get that measurement for you.

This is not as simple of an answer as yes/no. We do indeed wash following the directions on the tag of any clothing that can be washed. If it requires dry cleaning, we have it dry cleaned. If it is hand wash only, we carefully hand wash it. Sometimes having something dry cleaned might be cost prohibitive to keep the price lower on an item. If we were unable to do so we will post this in the listing. We treat all of our vintage clothing with the same care we treat our other vintage items.

We do everything we can including having other professionals take a look at our vintage items. If it is a name brand item that is often counterfeited we usually do not sell them. On the rare occasion we do list high end fashion items from eras past we do have them authenticated by a 3rd party. We actually always have items in storage still awaiting verification, sometimes for up to a year, before listing them for sale. We are also careful with making sure items are authentic and not reproductions. A lot of toys got reissued at different times and we make sure we list what and when the product is in every listing. You will find a lot of info on an item in our listings so read carefully and as always please ask questions before buying.

If there is more than 1 item available we will have the quantity field available on the listing. Otherwise, and this is usually true, all items are sold with singular availability. It is rare that we find more than 1 of the same item to offer in our shop.

We ship worldwide to any country that Etsy will allow us to buy a shipping label for. When we list a product we already know what packaging material, box size, and total weight for shipping. Etsy handles the math based on your location and will charge you actual shipping cost. As a bonus, we ship standard shipping FREE for all orders over $35 if you are in the USA. Sorry but free shipping is not available outside the USA. We tried everything we could to figure out how to offer that but it is just not economically viable to do so. If you order several items and they are under $35.00 we are happy to ship them together and it is an additional $2.33 per item. It is usually better for our customers to add several items totaling over the $35.

We spend a LOT of time sourcing, buying, and authenticating items we sell. They come from everywhere and we are always keen on finding new sources for them. We once had a guy contact us who had a huge 3500 square foot barn FULL of vintage toys. We got to go on the most interesting shopping trip of our lives. We have 1000's of items and will be adding more and more to our Etsy shop all the time.

Contact us! We are happy to take returns on any item that we missed something on. If you get a dress and see a stain that we somehow missed for instance. We will work with you on getting the item back to us and in getting you a refund. We cannot offer replacements because items are usually only stocked as a 1 of. We stand behind listing the condition and taking lots of photos of blemishes. We want to make it right your satisfaction is our #1 priority and concern.
