Young Saints Escape Room, Catholic Saints, Puzzles for Kids, Digital Download

This Escape Room & Scavenger hunt features 6 young Saints (all aged 13 years old or younger!). Their youth and faith are an inspiration. This educational activity is a great way to celebrate their lives and will provide a fun, engaging way to teach children (recommended for ages 6-8) about their Catholic faith and traditions! This game uses simple puzzles (word find, basic math skills, etc) and is appropriate for new readers. It may be helpful to have a parent/teacher nearby if there are instruction-related questions. Each Saint has their own puzzle based on their life or patronage and, once solved, leads you to the next puzzle. Gameplay is 60 minutes (add more time if your kids are younger or choose to play without the time limit). This game works by participants solving 1 puzzle worksheet at a time with the solution leading to a hiding spot. Recommended for 1-6 players to play at a time or break up into teams. This helps everyone feel involved and ensures all players can view the worksheet. Solutions, Saint Biographies, and a Certificate of Completion are included! The hiding spots are flexible to be used for the home or classroom.

Gameplay:
Participants must find all 6 keys (printed on the back of each Saint card they find) to "unlock" the final compartment of your chosing. Inside that compartment you can include the Certification of Completion, the Saint biographies that you can read to them to teach out the Saints they just discovered more in-depth, and a treat or prize if you wish.

What do you need?
-Color printer (that can print double-sided)

-1 meadium-large sized compartment (can be any form of box, chest, etc.)

Instructions:
1.) Print puzzle pages (single-sided) & saint cards (double-sided)
2.) Cut out Saint cards, a few puzzle squares, and the 6 locks.
3.) Find 1 compartment to use
4.) Hide Clues

**You can adjust the difficulty of the scavenger hunt by making the clues as visible or as hidden as you prefer.
