I saw a small thread poking out from my pin. Is this important?

After much trial and error, we've found that the best way to make the sliding pins functional (i.e., able to slide smoothly while also staying in place) is to firmly tie knots using thread behind the sliding piece. This creates friction and helps the slider stay exactly where you left it. Without this thread, the pin would lose some of its function. We do our absolute best to trim this as short as possible, but from time to time small parts of the thread may remain visible. In addition, from time-to-time parts of the thread may become more visible due to rough handling by USPS. If you have excess thread hanging down that you're able to safely trim, you are more than welcome to do so.

Why is there a button on the back of my spinning pin?

Similar to how the thread makes the sliding pin functional, the button (a strong button magnet) makes the spinning pins functional (beginning Mid-March 2023). It is attached to the spinning pins using a type of mounting putty. If we were to use super glue instead of putty, the moving component of the pin would become compromised and the pin would point down all the time. If the putty and/or magnet becomes lost or falls off, I can help walk you through how to get everything working again. Replacement putty and neodymium button magnets can be easily found on sites like Amazon, or I may be able to "snail mail" you any supplies you might need. I ordered a shirt (or sweater, mug, etc.) but did not receive it. What should I do?

In addition, all print shop items are made to order, and it can take 1-2 weeks before your package is handed off to a courier. If it has been 3 or more weeks since you've placed your order and you still haven't received your item(s), or if you need help locating your tracking information, please reach out!

Why did I receive a small card that said "Choking Hazard" on it?

All of my orders containing any enamel pins will unfortunately always contain at least one choking hazard, whether it be the pin itself, pin backings, or pin extras (such as the button magnet and putty for the spinning pins). In addition, other small items from my shop, such as keychains, may also pose risk to small children or individuals who have a tendency to put items in their mouths. From time-to-time, I may temporarily run out of these small "choking hazard" cards. Please note that the absence of this card does not mean there is any less of a choking hazard than any other package that I send. Please be aware of these hazards when gifting the pins to others.
