Please note this pattern comes with written instructions (not vintage), but is suitable for a confident beginner. Some skills needed: Creating bias binding, attaching bias binding, finishing seams.

Description:
Sleeveless A-line swing dress that ties at the neck. Neck and armholes finished with bias binding and topstitched. Optional bias binding tie belt.

Suggested fabrics:
Fabrics with a bit of weight and drape work best.

2.5-3m of bias binding.

Be aware that vintage patterns are not as thorough and clear in their instructions as modern patterns. As such, I recommend this pattern for an experienced beginner onward. However, amazing things can be achieved with a little patience and a lot of googling!

Minimal waste:
I've tried really hard to minimise paper waste, print costs, and assembly time by fitting as much as humanly possible onto as few sheets of paper. I aim to fit all pattern pieces on to one or two A0 sheets. Some A0 sheets may need to be taped together for larger pattern pieces.
