Simple, minimal leaf earrings which we have hammered to gleam and shimmer.

The ear wires are 14K gold filled and come with rubber ear nuts to prevent loss. Gold filled is safe for sensitive skin, very hard wearing and is lead and nickel free. Our gold filled is recycled.

The leaf shapes are 3.5cm long (almost 1.5 inches) and are made from beautiful, solid brass which has been hammered and polished to gleam and shimmer. It resembles gold but is lighter and therefore ideal for earrings. It is extremely durable and rust resistant, and is recycled which makes it a great environmental choice. Brass can be recycled an infinite number of times which massively reduces the need for mining.

As with most metals, brass will develop a natural patina over time. Fortunately it is super easy to restore the original shine - see our FAQs for more info.

► To reduce the buildup of tarnish:
- Store in an airtight container* in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight.
- Avoid contact with chemicals such as perfume and lotions.
- Avoid wearing while washing, swimming and exercising.
► To remove tarnish:
- Sterling silver & gold filled: Wash with warm water, a drop of mild soap and a soft, cotton cloth. Dry thoroughly.
- Brass: Submerge in vinegar for a few seconds, rinse and rub dry - you'll be amazed at the results.
► Remove before sleeping.
► Please note that my jewellery is not intended for children and should be stored out of reach of children to avoid risk of swallowing.

*We recommend using a grip seal plastic bag with the air squeezed out.

Gold filled is made up of a thick layer of solid karat gold permanently bonded by heat and pressure to a base metal such as brass. My items are hallmarked 1/20:14K which means that 1/20 of the metal weight of the item consists of 14K gold. The gold layer is very durable and does not wear off like plated items or vermeil, and should last a lifetime with the proper care. All my gold filled components are free from lead and nickel.
