A rare button with 1902 hallmark,anchor sign,and date mark c. The image is high raised,flat button on back with a solid integral loop. The young woman has her hands together..very fine finger detail, with 2 birds on her hands eating out of them,she is smiling at looking down at them...she has a small crown feature on her head? And is scantily clothed. Her hair showing the new nouveau styles being adopted..short hair for this period of time. The hope of the new era of freedom for women. The surround and shape is like a nouveau photo frame.lovely clear detail. Rare button. This is a lovely collectors button but also for clothing and would make a beautiful ring or pendant.
