Luminous white coin pearls are suspended by long handmade earring wires. Coin pearls are approximately 12 mm.

Approximately 2 1/2 - 2 3/4 inches in length.

All jewelry in my shop is designed and crafted by hand by me. I use silver and gold filled wire and findings and carefully selected freshwater pearls, semi-precious gemstone beads, Swarovski crystal and seashells.

About Freshwater Coin Pearls:

Freshwater pearls cover a wider range of colors and shapes than any other pearl type and they tend to be less expensive than saltwater pearls, making them very popular. Because freshwater pearls are solid nacre, they are very durable, easily resisting chipping, wear and degeneration.
Coin pearls are formed in the same manner as round freshwater pearls. Often taking years to grow, the end result is a flat disc-shaped pearl. Square coin pearls are beautifully irregular, each having it's own lovely, unique shape.
