Gorgeous vintage 1970s Gunne Sax maxi dress is a cottagecore dream in cream floral voile with a bamboo pattern. The dress has a Victorian collar and lace yoke. The same lace also creates the puff top bishop sleeves. The sleeves are gathered into deep voile cuffs trimmed with lace and pearlized buttons. The dress is lined and has a back nylon zipper.
Label = Label is missing, but the satin tag remnant can be seen under the zipper seam allowance. It’s cream satin w/the number 419 on it. I’ve taken a pic of another Gunne Sax I’ve listed. The comparison shows both labels are the same fabric/color and also have the number 419 on them. This is definitely a Gunne Sax.
Condition= Excellent Vintage Condition. There was a fray on the inside bodice lining, which I’ve fused to repair. It doesn’t show from the outside but is being mentioned for accuracy (See last pic.)
Modern Size = Small / Smallish Medium
