Antique Royal Doulton blue and white floral platter with bale wire plate holder made by Royal Doulton England in 1910 to 1920.
The flower pattern is daisy like with leaves in a chintz like pattern.
One side of the platter has a molded shelll like design, horizontal designs that radiate towards the scalloped rims.
The rims have gold highlights as well.

I have not found the pattern to this and also has Rd No 472079 possibly a product number or dating system.
Dated below according to mark on plate, very simple markings that got a little more elaborate in later years. But can not discount the numbering may be a dating system 4=april of '72 to '79.

Measurement: 13" by 10 3/4"
Condition: preowned, gently used, some gold missing in areas, has crazing, some small yellow stains in areas, no chips or cracks, I just left the plate holder on the plate since it fit so nicely but can be taken off.

In 1901, the company introduced a new Doulton mark with the lion, crown and ‘intersecting D motif’.
