This darling mini sweater ornament is knit in the round from the top down.

PATTERN INCLUDES:
• Detailed knitting instructions to make Mini Sweater Christmas Ornament.
• FIVE duplicate stitch charts to customize the front of the sweater:
HEART, JOY, SAILBOAT, HO HO, & TREE designs.
• Duplicate Stitch Tutorial with detailed photo tutorial instructions.
• Mini Wire Hanger Tutorial with detailed step-by-step photos.

FINISHED SIZE: approximately 4” high x 8” (sleeve end to sleeve end) x 3.5” (across chest of sweater).

SKILL LEVEL: Intermediate.

You will need to know how to knit in the round with double pointed needles, knit and purl confidently, increase and decrease stitches.

MATERIALS FOR ONE MINI SWEATER ORNAMENT:
US size 5 double pointed needles
40 yards #4 weight worsted or Aran wool or wool blend yarn in main color
2 - 3 yards #4 weight worsted or Aran yarn in desired color(s) for duplicate stitch design
3 stitch holders - at least 4” long

Brown Sheep Lamb’s Pride Worsted recommended for the duplicate stitch styles.

For a simple, timeless look this ornament looks fabulous when knit plain (without duplicate stitch) with a hand-dyed worsted weight yarn.
