All of your designs are for 1:12 scale. Can I resize them to other scales?

All of my designs include details, tiny connectors and corresponding slits that will no longer work if you change the scale or change the thickness of the material used. If you change the scale of my designs, you may be able to come up with something that looks good and makes you happy, but there are absolutely no guarantees. If you buy my designs with the thought of changing them into some other scale / doing them of some other material thickness please do not feel disappointed or mad at me if it doesn't turn out perfect in the end!

Can I work on your files on my phone?

If you purchase files on your phone, and try to open them up, the phone might not have an app for unzipping the files. My files come in a package called zip, and most computers have the software to unpack .zips by default. Phones do not have that app unless you download one and install it. It may then look like the zip is empty, if the phone simply cannot open it. You can download free unzipping apps for most modern phones. However, if you plan on cutting these files with a plotter cutter, you are going to need to take out your computer sooner than later anyway :)

Can you do a custom order?

I'm happy to hear wishes and if I have time and think that your request would complement my collection, sure I can give it a try. Send me a message on etsy and a photo of the type of furniture you mean. I think it is super fun to try and copy real life antiques into my designs, but I do have a day job so I can't guarantee I have time to start working on your request. If you'd like a piece just for yourself and not for sale in my etsy shop, I'm interested in that too, let me know!

I'd need your files in some other format than .svg, can you send them to me?

Please first try and install a free software called inkscape (inkscape.org). This will let you save the .svg files in many formats, at least in .png and .pdf format. If you have problems working with inkscape, you can then ask from me, but please be prepared for a wait.

What is the material you use? where can I get it?

I use a 1mm thick material called wood pulp board. It is wonderful for many reasons: Cricut cuts it very well, it is inexpensive and when you layer it, you hardly see the seams. It can be stained with wood stain or painted, of course. The furniture will be lighter than they would be out of wood, but look at the details we can make with the layers! Architects use this material for their prototypes. The material's name varies in different parts of the world: - europe: (wood) pulp board, holzpappe or finnpappe - US butter board (matboard works too) - UK Bristol board Check out your local art stores. The material is typically sold in sheets. If you can't find it, just order 1mm (0,4") thick cardboard (e.g ebay sells 1mm cardboard).

Are these difficult to build?

No! Start with a chair or a small table, they are super simple. You will love to see a piece that YOU created, exactly in the color you wanted. All of my files have clear illustrated step by step instructions. It is kind of like building IKEA furniture :) Once you've build one of my designs, it will be even easier to build more because the logic remains the same.

Why don't you answer right away?

I am in the European time zone, so my night may be at the time you would be happiest doing crafts. In addition, this is just a hobby to me (although a dear hobby!) so I have many other responsibilities that take up my time.

I have problems with the file.. please help?

Before you contact me with file problems, try and install the free vector graphic design software called inkscape (inkscape.org). If you aren't successful with inkscape in exporting the file to a different format / changing the size / what ever it is you'd need to do, please ask me only after you have tried yourself. The files are not to be edited on phones - they are for computer use, so also please try solving your problems with a computer first before being in contact. I would love to help everyone but it takes a lot of time, which I unfortunately don't have. If you come across unbeatable technical problems, I'll refund you. There's no point in ruining your or my day because of dollhouse furniture :)

Can I sell the furniture I build with your designs?

No, I'm sorry you can't. I want to reserve that option for myself. The designs take a lot of time and I don't think it would be fair that someone would, after paying a few euros for a file, make money on selling them. The files are for your personal use, and do make gifts to your friends! Miniature-loving friends are wonderful and deserve lovely gifts.

Noble Nightstand is a pretty addition to any bedroom. It has two working drawers and it is petite enough to fit snuggly next to the bed. You could also use it as a side table in a sitting room - perhaps to display a nice flower arrangement? The nightstand has a ridiculous amount of details that you could emphasize with a touch of metallic paint.

The files in the package are optimized for FDM printing, all pieces have been designed so that no supports are needed, as long as you place the parts on the printing mat as instructed in the instructions, flat side down. I don’t see why the file wouldn’t work just as well for resin printers. Let me know if you have problems with printing. I am unfortunately not able to help with all printers out there, as that is not my expertise. If you are unhappy I need to know about it, because I don’t want unhappy customers! Crafting is supposed to be happy and fun.
