All of my decorative pillow covers in my Etsy shop are designed and made by me from hand-woven vintage kilim fragments or vintage rug fragments. As you can see, I have vintage Turkish rugs, Turkish kilim rugs in my Etsy shop. Some of the vintage rugs, due to their age and nature, can have wears and holes and I make decorative cushion covers from the intact parts of such vintage carpets or vintage kilim rugs. I cut their beautiful pattern and color combination parts into square or rectangular cushions and make cushion covers in my small atelier. The most important feature of these cushions is that each of them is unique in natural colors and natural wool hand made in different regions of Anatolia.

Size of this Rectangle Pillow: 16x24 inches – 40x60 cm
The front side is hand-knotted or handwoven vintage wool rug.
The backing fabric of the throw pillow cover is cotton fabric with hidden zipper.
The age of Turkish Rug or Turkish Kilim Fragment is over 40 years old.
Thickness of the pillow case (without insert) is approx. is 0,31” or 8 mm and 6”-15cm with insert.

Condition is EXCELLENT for this sofa pillow cover. All my vintage Turkish rugs have been recently professionally washed before I cut them as pillow cover so that your pillow case is ready for use when you receive.

Your Handcrafted Pillow Sham is clean and ready to use but If washing is necessary, you can wash it in cold water in your machine with shampoo only or dry clean it.
