what you see is what you get, these are extra, overstock, or sometimes just slightly imperfect pieces that are still perfectly serviceable but for one reason or another they ended up as extras in my scrap pile, these are sold as is with no returns, so make sure you check the pictures carefully as that's the best way to determine their features.
The listing title will have the most accurate description of the type, size, and quantity of hooks in the listing, but if you're unsure or have any questions then don't hesitate to send me a message, and I'll get back with you as soon as possible.
If what I have available is not quite enough for your project I can always try and make a couple custom pieces to match, so be sure and let me know if you have any questions or customizations, but since these are often imperfect or slightly off measurement I can't guarantee a perfect match if you need any more, but I'll do my best to make sure you get what you need.
These classic blacksmith hooks are hand forged from recycled steel, and are an excellent example of beauty through function. The simple S shaped hooks are extremely strong and virtually unbreakable, completely hand made and completely unique.
Hand forged from steel, these are meant to last, and can hold a surprising amount of weight, I always strive to design my hooks to maximize strength while maintaining a lighter, and more airy style, so I think you will find these are much heavier duty than they appear.
All of my hooks are made from low carbon steel, which has the possibility of rusting, but I have a couple of different finish options in order to protect your items for years of use. The traditional blacksmiths finish is to apply a layer of beeswax on the metal when it's still hot which creates a tough water resistant matte finish that will work very well on all indoor items, or in protected outdoor areas with care. However for higher moisture environments and for direct sun outdoor exposure, I can apply a heavy duty outdoor polyurethane coating, which is much more rust resistant.
Remember though, that any finish is going to wear off eventually, so if you do start noticing rust developing then you can buff it out with steel wool or a wire brush, and then apply a paste wax to renew the finish. And be sure to let me know if you have any questions or concerns about the finish of your hooks, I'm always glad to answer any questions you have.
