Big Beak Wood Chew Toy for master mulcher machine Macaw’s and Cockatoo’s who LOVE making toothpicks from 2x4’s
This chunky pine wood toy hangs from a stainless steel O ring screw, all pieces are stacked on a 3/8 x 12inch wooden dowel. The top & bottom block pieces are fixed in place, all the center pieces turn on the dowel.
The pine chunk with dots has 2 inner compartments that contain a loose 1” ball on each side to grab their interest. This is also a great spot to add in some little pieces of treats if your bird needs a little nudge to do some shredding. Followed up by some challenging chunks to keep their big beaks in action for some time.

**this is a big beak chew, ordering for a smaller bird will not be beneficial… I could be wrong, you may have a Tasmanian Debbil chewer but I can say none of my Amazons are interested in any more than a few edges on this toy. Not for the average home decorator beak, more for the demolishing, gutting the home, renovator type.
**all measurements are approximate. I do NOT sand frayed cut edges smooth. It’s my experience that birds are drawn in to pick at rough edges.

*I switched out top ball for a disc wheel to add more stability at the top. I haven’t had any complaints (yet) but felt it was a weak spot in the toys longevity to hang.
