Materials: plastic, vinyl

A standard sized faux leather briefcase by McBrine, the outside in a chocolate tone faintly mottled vinyl with gold toned accents, the inside in a beige / tan, offset in a brown tone. The inside of the lid with hanging packets for loose papers, business cards, laptop cables etc. With 4 little tabs to lock or release a ca 3/4 inch depth expansion. Perfect for business, college or storage purposes. Fits my standard sized 15.6" laptop with ease and space to spare.

Condition: with some wear and age-related marks inside and out (including some scuffing to the edges) but overall quite clean. The number lock is smooth and the clasps pop open with ease. The case stands on 4 little metal feet. The lid does NOT stand open on its own, which is great if you enjoy your privacy.

"Louis McBrine was a "valise manufacturer" circa 1901 in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada. Circa 1911 he was involved in manufacturing trunks. He and his partner, W. G. Cleghorn, founded McBrine Luggage, which from 1905 until into the 1960s was one of the world's largest luggage manufacturing businesses. The company was still making briefcases circa 1965."

Items are sent in 1-3 business day unless otherwise stated in our store announcement. Often it´ll go the same or next business day. Please contact us if you are in rush to receive your item. We normally ship items out in the (late) afternoon. We use Canada Post and Chitchats as our shipping partners.

Shipping will be combined if possible and we use recycled packaging materials. You can always ask me for a shipping quote, and I refund any overages on combined orders automatically.

Do be aware that your parcel may incur customs fees, which you will be responsible for.

Please contact me with a clear photo of the damaged item and packaging, or send me a message if the item fails to arrive within 25 working days (6 weeks if overseas). Please check with customs - and your room mates or neighbours - if they are holding your parcel!

Should an item return because it was unclaimed or refused at the post office / customs, the buyer will be responsible for postage fees to have the item re-sent. No refunds will be due.

Do bear in mind that all my items have a past and will normally show signs of wear. Take care in using them as they may not stand up to rough handling.
