This shop displays goods which are advertised for sale and gives information about them. By advertising goods we are inviting you to place an order. If you place an order, we are not obliged to accept that order and the contract between us will only be formed if and when we accept your order. Our acceptance of your order and the formation of a binding contract between you and us will take place when we dispatch the goods to you. Up until this point, there will be no contract in place between you and us, which means that neither you nor we will have any rights against or obligations towards the other, until the order is dispatched.

The Agreed Time for Delivery of Goods as per Regulation 42 of The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 is 3 weeks from date of order for delivery to UK addresses and 8 weeks from date of order for addresses outside the UK.

Dispatch & Delivery
All UK & International orders are sent with tracking via Royal Mail.
Etsy sends an automated notice on dispatch which may show an estimated delivery date - please note: this is not in accordance with the delivery timescales shown on Royal Mail's website or is it updated in real time once issued. I cannot be held responsible for delays incurred by customs, airport/postal strikes, bad weather, pandemics, act of god, misdirection & busy times of year such as Halloween & Christmas. Due to the handmade nature/dispatch time required & cost! I do not offer expedited shipping within the UK or internationally.
WORKING DAYS ARE CLASSED AS MONDAY TO FRIDAY (unless a national or bank holiday).

Customs and Import
International customers (where such a service is offered) are responsible for ensuring that the items ordered are legally permissible to be imported into their country. They are also responsible for the payment of all taxes, customs duty, processing and import fees, and all other dues, duties and tariffs as may be incurred.

All items are photographed prior to packing & all parcels are weight verified prior to shipping.

Cancellations & Returns:
I abide by the UK distance selling regulations: Right to withdraw: I accept cancellations & returns.
If you wish to cancel your order please contact me within 2 hours of purchase.
For orders already dispatched:
If you change your mind and wish to return your order please contact/message me through Etsy only within 14 calendar days of receipt of your order to inform me of your intent to return. A further 14 days from that date in which to return the goods then applies. Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition with tags attached the buyer is responsible for any loss in value. For international returns please write across the front of the parcel "retuned UK merchandise". You will need to attach a completed CN22 form. I cannot refund import duties or taxes paid by you for receipt of the goods into your country, you will need to do that yourself, please keep copies of all paperwork and proof of posting of returned goods to support your application for refunds of import duties and taxes.
Refunds:
Refunds will be issued within 14 days of receipt of returned item.

Items where prior allergy, sizing & general unsuitability advice was given either verbally via messages or as stated in any/all of my shop policies/information sections.

Exchanges:
I do not accept exchanges.

Damaged/Faulty Items:
Photos showing the damage to both the item & outside packaging are required as I cannot make an insurance claim without these. Contact only through Etsy & not email, thank you. All damaged/faulty items must be returned before a refund can be issued.

Due to various shipping issues I no longer post to previous goods returned name/addresses, lost mail/theft claimants or repost to or accept further orders/payments from previous addresses/addressees where delivery problems of any kind have previously occurred. I, The Charmed Maiden, reserve the right to cancel any such orders.
Orders to college/university accommodation addresses &/or halls of residence are sent at your own risk. If there is a part or full retention notice on your accommodations address your item may not be delivered.

I DO NOT add messages to the outside of parcels with instructions to be left in unsecure locations/with neighbours etc.

I only post to the address as stated on your Etsy order. Please make sure this is correct & includes a proper addressee details & not just a first name or nick name etc (if for some reason your order could not be delivered you may need to collect it & you will need to show id & be able to sign for it)
Should I be notified of an incorrect address prior to posting, your order will be cancelled, a full refund issued & items relisted so that you may repurchase with the correct address.

Wholesale/Drop Shipping (Etsy shop):
I do not offer wholesale or discounts. I do not accept large quantity and/or monetary orders unless prior consent has been given. I do not supply my jewellery for resale or drop-ship/third party transactions. Any orders I deem to be for any of these reasons will be cancelled.

Custom Orders:
Due to my heavy day to day work load of my Etsy shop & website orders I no longer take on custom orders or offer a reserve service. Small alterations to some of my already existing items, such as the swapping of a charm or different bead colour, may be available. This however will very much depend on spare stock availability. All requests must be received in writing and agreed to prior to the placement of order. Depending on the work involved of said alteration, an extra fee may be charged. Please note: alterations are not offered on any of my One Of A Kind (OOAK) or limited edition pieces/lines.

Business Hours:
Monday to Friday 8.30 to 4.30pm GMT. I do not work weekends or bank holidays. Messages received after 4.30pm on Friday will be responded to the following Monday unless a bank holiday. My business is strictly online only. I do not have a bricks & mortar shop or offer a collection service.

IMPORTANT PRODUCT INFORMATION: Health & Safety:

All of the items I make are made to be worn/used by adults only.

Care & Safety:
Plated items can tarnish. Please do not get your items wet in any way.
Do not spray perfumes, hairsprays or other cosmetics on to or near your items.
All items are potentially delicate & must be treated accordingly with due care & attention. All of my items are made for adornment purposes only & are not suitable as a therapy tool or where any form of vigorous or unusually activity may take place. Do not put any of the items or component parts of items into the mouth or any other bodily orifice.
Do not wear items while sleeping or taking part in sporting activities or try to alter in anyway to safeguard against unnecessary damage & for obvious health & safety reasons.
All items are delicate & careful placement & removal is required as items can easily snag on clothing & hair, or become damaged if pulled on or strained. All items especially those incorporating filigree pieces can on occasion become slightly tangled. Some headpieces depending on your hairstyle, may require hair grips to help with placement (please note: hair grips are not supplied)
Do not allow children access to items under any circumstances.

Cleaning:
Use a soft clean dry cloth & gently buff the metal parts only. Do not use any sort of polish, Jewellery cleaner or detergent.

Storage:
Do not leave in damp conditions or direct sunlight. It is advisable to keep all items in a drawer or jewellery box when not in use.

Dowsing Pendulums:
To cleanse leave on a windowsill overnight in moonlight. Do not use direct sunlight as this can tarnish the plated metal components. Keep your dowser in the organza pouch provided & store as above.

COMPONENTS:
Unless otherwise stated all charms/components used are lead & nickel safe produced in alignment with EU regulations.

- The colour/finish of manufactured beads, charms & components used can vary slightly from batch to batch. For items purchased on the same order with same colour beads, I will endeavour to match as close as possible.
- The colour of individual plated metal components, especially gold, can vary, so an exact uniform finish cannot be guaranteed.
- Where semi precious stones, coloured Jade/Howlite, crystals & other natural materials such as wood & bone are used please be aware these can vary from piece to piece due to their natural state & so exact replicas of those shown in my listing photos are not guaranteed.
- On occasion the style of chain may vary slightly in style to that shown.

Allergy advice:
If you are sensitive to plated ear wires or plated jewellery in general or have any concerns for any reason regarding the materials used in the composition of my items, I strongly advise you not to purchase. In a small number of cases metal discoloration can occur. This is caused by a chemical reaction of some people's skin when in direct contact with the metal alloys used, especially when the jewellery touches areas that perspire. If this applies, again I strongly advise you not to purchase.

- Every effort has been made by me to give a full description as possible & show true to colour photo's but please be aware that due to individual monitor resolutions, colours can vary!
