This beautiful R.R.P.C. Basin bowl & Pitcher is decorated with a blue spongeware pattern on a light tan glaze. Bassin is a bit yellowish compared to the pitcher.
No chips or cracks. This piece will be a pleasure to display or to add to your collection. The pitcher measures 9" at its tallest point, by approximately 7 1/2" across the widest points of its lower bulbous area. The bowl measures 12" across from outer rim to outer rim, by 3 1/4" tall.
Factory opened in 1900. By 1916 Ransbottom Pottery was the largest producer of stoneware jars in America. The factory closed in 2005.
