This is a rather beautiful antique sewing bag case. It measures approximately 16.5 x 8.5 x 7.5 cm, not including the handle. It's a beautifully detailed little sewing bag with its gilt metal trim fashioned as a buckle on the front. It has a good secure clasp and opens to reveal a fabric lined inner lid with a mirror. The bag holds a variety of gilt metal sewing tools on a lift up flap. Underneath the flap is storage for further bits and pieces. The bag has signs of age with wear to the blue velvet and a few marks on the gilt metal. The inside is in really lovely condition. Overall, an unusual, rare and collectable antique sewing bag.

I'm now using eco-friendly packaging for all orders including biodegradable brown craft paper tape, biodegradable bubble wrap and void fill packing chips and, where possible, reused boxes. The only thing I've not yet been able to find is eco-friendly clear tape used for attaching shipping labels, so if you're aware of any such thing please let me know where I can find it. I'd love to be able to offer 100% eco-friendly packaging!
