What do I do as soon as my plant arrives?

1. Bring your shipment indoors and unbox the plants as soon as possible when they arrive at your location (remove tape, shipping dowel, paper towel, and polyfill)! 2. Take time to acclimate your plants after removing them from the shipping box. This can be done by isolating the plants in a dedicated room, such as one without any of your other plants while providing substantial light. 3. Water only if the soil is dry. We water your plants right before they are shipped, so watering immediately might not be necessary. 4. Do not repot immediately- your plant is potted with our custom soil mix before leaving our shop. A thank you card with plant care instructions is included with your purchase.

Potted plants come in 2-4 inch clear pots with our house-made chunky soil mix. Pot size is determined by the diameter of the container. Our soil mixes bag of soil is weighed to be 2 pounds give or take 0.1 oz. We offer one size as we are a brand new shop, but once demand increases we plan to offer more sizes. Our moss pole is 24" in length and comes in 2.5" or 3" in diameter.

How will my plant be shipped?

Bare root plants will ship as just the plant and its established roots. We ship the plant roots in sphagnum moss that is kept moist by a damp paper towel, and secured by saran wrap and tape. Potted plants will be shipped with the soil covered to prevent spilling, and the plant will be protected with box filling to ensure minimal damage.

My plant is damaged! What do I do?

Minimal damage is to be expected due to transit. However, if your plants receive a significant amount of damage, please do not hesitate to contact us and we will try to resolve the issue! We do not offer returns or exchanges but please send us pictures of your damaged plant along with the condition of the box. Please contact us and send pictures within 24 hours of shipment delivery. This will ensure that we can assess the situation and discuss the next steps within a timely manner.

My question is not here. How do I contact you?

“Fantastic soil mix. Very nice loose. Love that it comes in a resealable bag. The only possible downside could be that the bag opening isn't huge. Better for pouring (but maybe not scooping out of the bag). Not a problem for me though!! Thanks! (The photo is of the bag after I used about half of it. The bag arrived very full)”
