The fabric used on this shade is a blend of Ramie and cotton, which the process in making this fabric creates a wonderfully textured linen.

If you’re unsure of what Ramie is, Ramie is a natural fibre, which is made from the Chinese Nettle plant!
Fun fact: Ramie fabric is twice as strong as traditional linen, and is naturally bacteria & mould resistant!

Very nicely made shades, flawless in fact. The attention to detail was clear even from the packaging which was also immaculate.

Absolutely beautiful craftsmanship. I bought a custom shade for a vintage lamp that’s really special to me, and Poppy absolutely nailed it. The proportions are perfect, the linen is gorgeous, and it completely transformed the lamp while still feeling true to its original character. I live all the way in California, and it arrived in absolutely perfect condition. It was incredibly well packaged and you could tell how much care went into making sure it was protected for the long journey. 10/10 go with BYPOPPYUK

So impressed with this lampshade. It creates a beautiful light through the linen. Incredibly well made. And it was brilliantly packaged. Can’t recommend highly enough.
