A floor lamp that can make a statement or tell a story.

This is a hand-made and assembled adult Posable Lamp. Comes ready-to-use with the addition of your bulb and lamp shade. Height is just over six feet when standing straight with lamp shade attached.

- you can specify any color: natural, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, brown, or black. Custom stain colors are available on request, as long as I can source the stain.

Posables Lamps can be positioned in an infinite number of ways. They can stand on their own two feet, sit on chairs, crouch, wear costumes, even fold up into tight spaces. The joints can easily be adjusted with a single 7/16" wrench (provided).

The lamp socket is a standard E26 socket and should easily handle 200 watts, probably a lot more. A 1000 lumen LED bulb (similar to a 100 watt incandescent bulb commonly used in the 20th century) will use about 10-15 watts.

Each lamp is hand-made, and may have what might be considered defects if they were mass produced, things like minor drips in the varnish. But I take care to make each one to my own exacting standards, starting from 8-foot lumber bought locally (northern California). No parts other than the lamp socket, the nuts and bolts, and plastic poker chips used for friction in the joints are pre-manufactured
