This is thicker version of our habotai silk fabric which is made of 100% mulberry silk and it’s woven in a silk traditional village in Vietnam where has a long history of more than one thousand years in silk production.
- Thickness: 14 momme or 40 gsm (gram per square meter).
- Width: About 35 inches or 90 cm.
Please note that this is Habotai (or Habutai) silk, a Japanese way of weaving silk and it's different with satin/charmeuse, crepe or chiffon silk.
When you touch it, you will feel it very light, soft, smooth because it’s real silk.
★How do you know if it’s real silk? The best way is to burn it and if it has a smell like you burn your hair, and when you touch the ash, it is broken into powder, then it’s real silk.
