Looking for an elegant skirt to wear for the summer? look no further! Martini skirt is a 100% crochet skirt that has a seductive mermaid-silhouette and an airy flow that is perfect for the summer time. Despite its length, you will not feel the weight of the skirt as it’s actually very lightweight. With 1 layer, it is perfect as a beach cover-up.

Martini is a made-to-measure (m2m) skirt pattern consisting of 1-3 layers. The design is especially made for size 1-3 untwisted yarn. It is a lightweight midi/mini skirt with 2 blocks colour contrast. The skirt itself is very flexible when it comes to sizing as the waistband is designed to cinch in from hip size to waist size with a waist-tie. The skirt is also designed to sit at the low waist point for a more seductive look.

There is a specific yarn requirement for this pattern that requires an untwist yarn to achieve the coverage and silhouette and drape. please see the yarn details provided in the photos for more information.

—Materials-
- Untwisted fingering/ sports/ dk weight yarn (size 1-3)
Fingering weight is recommended for 3 layers, sports/dk is recommended for 1-2 layers
- 2.5-3.5mm crochet hook (depends on your yarn weight)
2.5mm for fingering, 3mm-3.5mm for sports/dk
- i-cord maker (optional)
- drawstring threader (optional)
- interchangeable knitting cord or a long string
- stopper or any item with a length of 2cm (a piece of paper or anything is fine)
knitting/crochet needle or any item with a width of 25mm. I will be using cartridge paper.
