RARE 13" Art Deco Bakelite Necklace. Absolutely stunning orange, red, yellow swirl colour combo. This colour absolutely pops against the skin. An absolute STATEMENT necklace.

Some beads are as large as 1.5" W (focal point) or 2" L (long beads). There is a ton of intricate design work, as many of the beads have etched designs in them.

The clasp is a hidden screw-on (when it meets it's other half, it becomes one slightly larger bead). Extreme detail and elegance associated with this craftsmanship. Necklace is 13" long and will slip over most heads.

Has great weight to it -- 97g. Does glow under UV light.

This necklace has been in my family since the 1990s! However, it actually dates back to the 1920s-1930s Art Deco period.
