These are medium weight 100% Long Staple Cotton thread which is the most commonly used thickness for Sashiko embroidery (visible mending).
Unlike Olympus and many other branded Sashiko thread, our threads do not fray so much after many stitches.
Each cone is around 1kg with the length of 5,200 ~ 5,500 metres (5,700~6,000 yards) of our top quality Sashiko thread. If you have never used them before, we are also offering a complete set of samples with 20 metres of each colour.

This is a nice big cone of sashiko thread and will work great for a project I'm working on. It's more similar to Daruma fine rather than Olympus thin threads.
