Strathearn glass paperweight with millefiori and twisted canes in bright colours made in Scotland

Magnificent vintage dome paperweight handblown in the twentieth century by famous Scottish company Strathearn. On a delicate yellow base millefiori in navy blue, fire red and white colours are perfectly arranged in a triangular form. Between them there are seven twisted canes reminding one of handwoven muslin. In the centre there is a precise circular arrangement of millefiori in similar colours. The diameter is 7cm and height 6cm. The whole composition is encased in clear glass.
This beautiful dome shaped paperweight is vintage and condition very good but it has two invisible needle head dents, one on the side and one nearer to the bottom. If it were perfect the price would be £115 but because of this invisible imperfection we have reduced it to £75. On the bottom is an original paper label saying 'Strathearn, handmade in Scotland'.
Beautiful example of a handblown millefiori paperweight to add to your collection or a generous gift to someone special.
