This is a listing for a pick tool. These pictures show an assortment of similar ones, but the listing is for (1) one of them, you pick the color you prefer. If you make no choice, I will send the next available.

My main objective is to make these tools SMOOTH. I mean smooth enough to use against yarn, threads, fabric, and most any other dry substance, without snagging, or catching.

Some say they used them with their double lucets, or with sewing, as some kind of straightening tool with embroidery. I've heard more reasons, but at the moment, that seems sufficient to say.

The plan is, ... you choose the color combinations you prefer from my choice list, and I will grab one from my little, ever changing bin of picks.

The ones in these two photos, happen to be made of Ash wood, but I also have maple and oak, sometimes other light color woods, with this type of color stripe on them.

This laying tool is beautiful and feels great in my hand. It’s been useful in so many other ways, including tucking thread ends under patches and appliqués. It’s also useful for helping your embroidery stitches lay exactly where you want them.

Iove this tool. The craftsmanship is exquisite, much more elegant than the price would indicate. This is my second order. Why? The ridiculous reason is that the dog ate my first one. I kept the handle because it survived and and shape felt around it
