This unisex hoodie PDF sewing pattern is extremely versatile and fun to make. The pattern includes two versions. You can make a pullover hoodie or a zip up jacket. The design includes generous ease to make it a truly comfy hoodie. Your imagination is your limit when it comes to this pattern. Use blizzard fleece to make a warm and cozy hoodie your child won't want to take off, or step up the coziness by using cuddle fleece. Use micro fleece to make a zip up jacket that looks store bought or even sweatshirt fleece for a classic sweatshirt hoodie. The simple design lends itself to your creativity. You can girl it up by adding cute little trims such as ric rac, making an appliqué for the front, or even painting your fabric!
This pattern includes sizes 3 months - 14. The PDF file includes detailed step-by-step instructions with pictures and a computer-drafted paper pattern to be taped together and cut out. It includes a size chart, finished measurements, notions and fabric requirements, and fitting tips.
The pullover hoodie is a moderate beginner sewing pattern. The zip-up jacket version is an intermediate level pattern. If you are a beginner or are looking for a quick sew, I recommend sewing up the pullover option. Then move on to the jacket version to challenge yourself and tackle a separating zipper. The included tutorial contains step-by-step instructions with pictures to help you install the zip so don't be scared! This is a serger friendly pattern as well.
This pattern is also available in adult sizes! Check out my bundle listing to save when you buy both of them!
