Are Mizuhiki jewelry water-resistant?

No, our jewelry are not water-resistant. While mizuhiki is a surprisingly durable material, we intentionally do not apply any coating in order to preserve its natural color and texture. As a result, the jewelry is not waterproof. Mizuhiki is made from paper, so exposure to water may cause it to lose its shape or change color. Please avoid getting it wet. If it does come into contact with water, gently blot it with a dry towel and allow it to air dry in the shade.

International Shipping

We previously offered shipping to select international destinations. However, due to increasingly complex international shipping and import requirements, we currently ship within the United States only. International customers may use a U.S.-based package forwarding service at their own discretion. Our responsibility for shipping ends once the order has been successfully delivered to the U.S. address provided with the order. We are unable to assist with international forwarding, customs, duties, taxes, or issues that occur after delivery to the U.S. address.
