I designed this one as a grown-up take on Halloween decor: each bat sits in its own black square framed by an off-white, crochet-look border, so it reads like a vintage granny-square afghan with a gothic twist. The granny-square look is all texture and no crochet: the pattern is woven straight into one solid piece of cotton, with no holes to catch a toe, so nothing unravels, peels, or fades. Each one is loomed to order and fringed on all four edges, for the couch, the foot of a bed, or a reading chair.

PRODUCT DETAILS
- Material: 100% cotton, jacquard woven. The design is loomed into the fabric, not printed or embroidered. Lightweight, soft, odor and stain resistant, hypoallergenic.
- Small: 37 x 52 inches. A lap blanket for a kid's room, a chair, or layering.
- Medium: 50 x 60 inches. Made for the living-room couch.
- Large: 60 x 80 inches. Room for two on the sofa, and exactly the top of a US queen mattress.
- Finish: colorful fringe on all four edges, multicolor at the top and bottom, black and white on the sides.
- Front and back: the front carries the bats; the back shows the reverse of the weave, a softer, inverted version. That's the construction, not a flaw.
- Care: machine wash cold (max 30C / 90F), gentle cycle, mild detergent, tumble dry low. Non-chlorine bleach only if needed.
- Colors: black and off-white. Screens vary, so the off-white may read warmer or cooler in person.

GOOD TO KNOW
- Is the granny-square look crocheted, or printed? Neither. It's woven on a jacquard loom: no holes, nothing to unravel like hand crochet, and nothing to peel or fade like a print.
- Is it only for Halloween? Not at all. It's black and off-white only, so it reads more gothic than holiday and can stay out all year.
- Will mine look exactly like the photos? Very close. Each one is woven to order, so small variations in the weave or shade are part of its character, not a defect.
- Can it hang on a wall, or go on a bed? Both. It works as a woven wall tapestry, and the Large covers the top of a queen mattress.
- Will it arrive in time for Halloween? Made to order in 2 to 4 business days, then UPS SurePost typically takes 2 to 6 business days within the US. Add the two together and check the arrival estimate at checkout.
