Reckless Rascals - Overlay Mosaic Crochet Raccoons - Pattern only

This pattern with cheeky raccoons is made to crochet in overlay mosaic crochet technique.

The pattern is available in Dutch and English (US terms) (both included in the purchase). This pattern has two versions. One version with continuous raccoons and a version without half raccoons. Both can be adjusted in size. Both have a written pattern and a printable chart over multiple pages. As a separate download, the purchase also includes total charts that can be used with apps like KnitCompanion.

The continuous version does not have a fixed end. The base is 82 stitches and 135 rows, but you can make it any size you want.

Version without half raccoons has a base of 128
stitches and 177 rows. You can add repeat to this per 82
stitches and 132 rows.

You can use any yarn you like for this pattern. The design remains the same.

With thicker yarn/larger crochet hook, your blanket will get bigger faster and you will make fewer repeats. With thinner yarn/smaller crochet hook, you need more repeats to achieve the same size. For this you will need more meters of yarn.

Continuous version:
Width: 1 repeat is 82 stitches, but can be made in any size
Height: 1 repeat 135 rows, but can be made in any size
Measurements in DK yarn: 1 repeat ± 45×75 cm
Yarn usage: 1 repeat ± 375 meters dark, 425 meters light

Version with no half giraffes:
Width: Multiple of 82 + 53
Height: Multiple of 164 + 83
Measurements in DK yarn: 1 repeat ± 70×100 cm per extra repeat ± 45 cm in width and 75 cm in height extra height.

Yarn usage: 1 repeat ± 850 meters dark, 650 meters light. Per extra repeat 375 meters dark, 425 meters light extra. (Note, if you add a repeat in width and height, that's a total of 4 repeats)
