This nice small Russian lacquer box The Nutcracker and the Mouse King was created by great Russian artist Serov from Palekh in 2002. The box is hand painted and signed by the artist. On the top of the box you can see written in Russian language: subject of the painting, name of the art school and the signature of the artist (see detail). The box represents German writer Hoffman
