Can I choose multiple colors for bulk items?

Yes! Just change the quantity to the total you need and then choose "Multiple Colors" from the color choice menu. You will then click the "+ Personalization" area under the drop down menus and you can leave a note there about the colors you would like and the quantity of each. There is a color chart in the photos of the listing. The quantity must add up to the total purchased. Please only use our color names. Keep a close eye on your messages as your order may be delayed if we have questions. Please note not all colors in the photos may be available. You will need to refer to the color chart only. Please reach out with any questions!

Can I get a bulk discount?

Because of the cost of raw materials, and the fees associated with selling on Etsy, it is hard to offer bulk discounts. We do frequently run sales when we can, so keep an eye out for those. You may also want to join our email list to be notified about sales. Visit CharleyCharles.com to sign up!

When will my order ship?

Thank you so much for your patience! These are all handmade items and due to volume of orders we get in our 3 shops it does usually take the full processing time. We always update it to be more accurate. Etsy will give you an estimate of arrival. Please use the latest date as an estimate. If you have any additional questions AFTER looking over the estimated date please send a message. I will do my best to pause my sewing and get back to you ASAP.

I recommend washing items alone at first (cotton is LINTY) and jamming them in a washer with other items can cause fabric pilling. Wash on COLD with mild detergent. Pretreat with dish soap for oil or food stains. Test stain removers before using as they can take off they dye in some cases. Tumble dry LOW HEAT. Do not over dry as this can cause gauze to not stay soft. If you find your towel not to be as absorbent as anticipated, give it some time. With use and washing these become super absorbent. To speed this process you can wash in hot water but it could affect the color of the item. Due to the dye processes, some colors might initially be less absorbent than others, but they will all end up to be the same wonderful absorbency.

Do you want to hang out?

I am an extreme introvert, so no, probably not. I do love you though. Follow along on Instagram and Pinterest (there are buttons for that somewhere)....That's kinda like hanging out, right?

Custom and personalized orders

We do our best to offer our items in multiple sizes/thicknesses. The fabric we use can be hard to have made, and takes time as we don't have unlimited amounts on hand. Feel free to ask about a custom size, and we will do our best to make it work. While we may be able to make custom sizes on some of the smaller items, we are NOT able to make large blankets. I would love a king size blanket, it just isn't something we can do on our machines and we don't have an industrial production system. WE DO NOT MONOGRAM OR EMBROIDER. We also do not have embroidery machines, so are not able to add names or monogramming to any of our items. If you would like your item embroidered, please consider supporting an embroidery shop local to you :)

My order days "delivered" but I didn't get it.

I have full faith in the USPS, but sometimes they do make mistakes. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND upgrading to PRIORITY shipping as it comes with tracking and insurance. I ship all items USPS Ground, and as such I can not guarantee your item will get to you. If you do not get your package it is your responsibility to work it out with the USPS (see USPS.com for contact information). On many occasions I have found the USPS Ground tracking to be incorrect and packages are delivered at a later date. Your item will most likely be in a soft poly envelope with a white 4X6 printed label on it. Once I put the package in the mail and the tracking is updated by the USPS, I am no longer responsible for the package.

Does gauze hold up to kitchen use?

Personally, I love using gauze in a kitchen setting. It is pretty, absorbent, and dries fast. I will say you should be careful drying products that could snag the fabric. Gauze is a loosely woven textile, and can be prone to snagging if you aren't careful. It can also get oil stains as cotton is a super porous fiber. It does work great for hand drying towels, and light cleaning. Overall I highly recommend it, just keep in mind that the fabric is more delicate than a tightly woven fabric.

Wholesale availability

While I would LOVE nothing more than to be able to wholesale, it usually isn't an option as we are swamped making orders for our own shops and can't accommodate wholesale orders. These placemats are so easy to use and wash. The perfect size options for chill dinners or to dress up a fancy table. Protect your table and add style at the same time!

:::SIZE::: These placemats are roughly 14X20 after washing. This type of gauze is specifically made to get that fluffy crinkle texture after washing (psssst...Pro tip: texture hides stains!) Each placemat is made the same size, BUT after washing you may find that some crinkle up more than others. This is normal. Exact size after washing can not be guaranteed.

:::USE::: Place under table settings to add interest and also protect your table. These are not waterproof.

:::FABRIC:::: each placemat is hand crafted out of 2 layers of double layered 100% cotton gauze. 4 ply total. Please keep in mind that one single layer of gauze fabric is THIN almost transparent, and a loose weave, so these 4 ply mats are very lightweight and super pliable.

:::COLOR::: Color in first photo is "Sky" which has been discontinued. Misty Blue is very similar. See drop down menu for available colors. Colors can vary slightly between fabric batches. Color may look different in person as monitors and phone screens can display colors differently. Custom color combinations are not refundable.

:::CARE::: Best washed in cool wanter with mild detergent. Preferable washed alone, or with NON linty fabrics as cotton is prone to attracting pills if not washed properly. Tumble dry on LOW heat. Do NOT over dry as it may cause fabric to become less soft. They get better the more you wash them! (treat oil stains immediately with dish soap as cotton is very absorbent and can get oil marks.)
