✤ PEEL + STICK WALL PREP ✤

Verify your current wall paint (brand / formula) before installation! Peel and stick wallpaper cannot adhere properly to low-VOC or "non-stick" paint. Descriptions usually include wording like "washable / scrubbable / stain-blocking / stain-repellent / scuff-proof" etc. These formulas are specifically designed to prevent anything from bonding to the painted surface... Great for repelling dirt, not great when repelling your wallpaper also!

Non-stick paint must be covered with a high quality, wallpaper-specific primer before installation; otherwise, your wallpaper can fail. These non-stick paint formulas are increasingly common, especially for mid-to-high-end paint brands. So, if you're unsure what paint was originally used, priming is strongly recommended to prevent any future issues. Please allow ~4 weeks for your primer to cure prior to installation.

We recommend the brand "Roman" for wallpaper primer and adhesives. Their website has a handy guide for selecting the right formulas based on your wall type / conditions.

For proper color and pattern matching, your wallpaper should all be produced in the same batch. For the best results, we strongly recommend ordering all the material you need upfront. Otherwise, the color may vary slightly between separate orders.
