USES

Use as much oil as needed to moisturize the skin. Especially effective if used after a bath to trap in the moisture.

Use for infant massages to help calm and soothe baby.

Use for the prevention and treatment of cradle cap (seborrheic dermatitis).

To prevent cradle cap, keep the areas such as the scalp and face well oiled with GEN Baby Herbal Oil. Use as often as needed, but especially after a bath.

To treat cradle cap, rub a small amount of the GEN Baby Herbal Oil into the scalp or other affected areas. Work into the skin/scalp very well. It may be necessary to even let the oil stay on the scalp for a short period of time so it can be absorbed well. Use a comb, soft brush, or clean rag to clean out the flakes that will come off after the application of the oil. Rinse the scalp or area with warm water until the oil is gone. Depending on the child, it may be necessary to use a gentle soap or cleanser to rinse the oil out of the hair.
