Original Artwork Care Info

I only use professional grade watercolours on paintings I sell here. These may include, but are not limited to Daniel Smith, Winsor & Newton, Schmincke, and Holbein. Despite this, watercolours are susceptible to fading over time if exposed to direct sunlight. To preserve your original watercolour piece, I recommend hanging it out of direct sunlight. Additionally, you may consider getting it professionally framed. Mounting the art piece to an acid-free mat with mat-board under UV-resistant plexiglass is highly recommended.

If your art print is not matted, I do recommend getting it matted. Framing your art print behind glass should be just fine, but if you are concerned about fading (or you would like to hang your print outside or in direct sunlight) you may consider purchasing a UV-resistant glazing for your picture frame. As long as the print isn't pressed super tight against the glass, (there is a small amount of spacing, which the mat provides) you should be good to go. You may also want to wear gloves when handling your art print as oils from your fingers could smudge the surface of the paper.

Art Print Sizing Details

5" x 7" Size: a 5" x 7" art print w/ an 8" x 10" matt/backing 8" x 10" Size: an 8" x 10" art print w/ an 11" x 14" matt/backing All art prints have a small white border (anywhere between 1/8-1/4 inch) that makes up about 10% of the total size.

All my pins are hard enamel pins and will contain 1-2 black rubber clutches depending on the size. Backing cards are included for all my pins; these are custom designed and handmade. I offer 2 types of grades, A grade and B grade. I use my best judgement in grading pins. · A grade: Very minor imperfections are present-no recessed enamel and/or few scratches. · B grade: There are noticeable imperfections-may have recessed enamel and/or scratches. Please note that all pins are -manually colored individually. Small variances and imperfections are normal and are to be expected.

Luckily, hard enamel pins are more durable, but scratches and tarnishing will occur over time depending on how they are displayed. Some enamel colors have a low lightfastness (or low permanence) and may fade due to prolong sun exposure. To preserve the vibrant colors of your pins, it is best to store them in an area with limited lighting. Tarnishing is easy to remove. I've seen some articles mention using soap and water; however, I would recommend using Wright's Silver Cleaner and Polish Cream with the polishing cloth. Before cleaning the entire surface of your pin, test a small area using a q-tip or small cotton swab.
